    Cathy, is it just about the calories, or the timing by which they are consumed?
    I saw the 5/2 doco last week, and know a few people who have used it successfully.What do you think about the ideas expressed?
    Irrespective, and bit of exercise never hurt anyone!

      Hi Allen,
      Great question!
      There are experts who support the idea that timing is extremely important and then there are others who say it’s all about the actual number of calories consumed. I believe that for many people having some rules (or rituals if you prefer!) around the timing of eating simply makes it easier not to overeat – and therefore helps to regulate the actual number of calories consumed!
      > At the end of the day Allen you need to find out what works best for you. . Avoid getting stuck in analysis paralysis. It is a common trap to be unwilling to start taking steps towards your goal unless you believe you have the perfect plan, the one that is guaranteed to work. Since Allen here!) are the most relevant case study, YOU need to get started finding out what works for you by…getting started! Focus on making small changes you can be consistent with and then check your results – and adjust (if necessary) what you are doing accordingly.
